I didn't know that there was such a site but looks interesting and i'd like to know more. I am interested in being as self sufficient as possible. We already make our own preserves, pickled onions and bread and sell our surplus duck eggs.

It's worth pointing out that distilling your own spirits is illegal in the UK.... Making your own beer and wine is perfectly legal, providing that you don't sell any. Otherwise, an enjoyable site.
